Job Description:

1.To ensure profitable completion of the Project in time with reduced IDCs and within proposed budgets with optimal manpower, and resources

  • To facilitate planning engineer to prepare schedule. 
  • To submit schedule to Client and Consultants and get approval. 
  • To complete the project within budget and scheduled timelines.
  • To facilitate material Procurement schedule, manpower and machinery requirement with Planning Engineer. 
  • To facilitate inventory requirement planning. 
  • To facilitate cashflow requirement planning. 
  • To facilitate site infrastructure plan and client approval of the same. 
  • To ensure implementation as per accepted schedule. 
  • To ensure proper contractual documentation and correspondence. 
  • To maintain records of delays and getting time extension from client if required. 
  • To ensure timely release of machinery for preventive maintenance. 
2.To ensure compliance with quality specification and ISO procedures.
  • Complete Execution of high rise structures and building.
  • To prepare quality plan and site specific procedures. 
  • To take corrective actions for the defects in execution.
  • To ensure documentation as per ISO.
  • To ensure manuals, procedures and checklists are available with concerned people.
  • To ensure reports and records maintenance as per the ISO requirements (Material and equipments)
  • To attend the internal and external audit.
  • To obtain customer feedback forms.
  • To ensure that NCs are cleared in time and in proper manner.
  • To evaluate and report on performance of vendors and sub-contractors.
  • To ensure refurbishing of equipments and assets before releasing from project. 
3.To ensure cost compliance with budget and improved margins.
  • To facilitate the preparation of pre start budget and obtain approval. 
  • To monitor cost per unit. 
  • To control the wastage of all the materials. 
  • To communicate the cost and specification to purchase departments for control. 
  • To identify extra work and obtain approval and payment from Client. 
  • To make best utilization of available resources. 
  • To use innovative techniques based on value engineering concepts. 
  • Timely submission of invoice and collections of payments from Clients. 
  • To ensure timely submission of bills in ERP and payments to Contractors and Vendors. 
  • To ensure timely and accurate submission of MIS and other reports.
4.To ensure compliance with safety manual and safety action plan specific to the Project.
  • To ensure education/training of site personnel regarding safety. 
  • To ensure safety certificates and other statutory documents for the plant and machinery. 
  • To monitor safe and proper usage of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). 
  • To ensure proper housekeeping and hygienic at site and labour camp. 
  • To conduct safety committee meeting at site. 
  • To plan the frequency of the checks for safety. 
5. To motivate staff and develop the team.
  •  To plan manpower requirement and obtain sanction. 
  • To participate in the selection and induction of new employee and help bring in key resources. 
  • Weekly meetings with team to communicate goals. 
  • To help solve the difficulties of team members. 
  • Inform about new techniques. 
  • Giving performance feedback to members and report to HR. 
  • Propose to management for incentives for motivation as per Company Policy. 
  • Identify the training needs and convey to HR. 
  • To monitor effectiveness of the training. 
  • Offer mentorship to GETs as and when required. 
  • To report disciplinary issues to HR and ensure timely action. 
  • To conduct exit interviews. 

6.To maintain good customer relations.
  • Attend the meetings with clients. 
  • Sorting out customer dissatisfaction/complaints. 
  • Proactive approach towards client needs to maintain long term interest of the organization. 
  • Favorably position the organization for business development. 
7. To maintain good relations with local bodies and surrounding community.
  • To ensure proper records are maintained. 
  • To ensure maintenance of proper hygiene of immediate surrounding areas. 
  • To ensure timely statutory payments
