Job Description:
You will be responsible for further optimizing all processes related to Import (Key skill Area), Export, Statutory Compliance, Customs clearance and legal requirements with the aim to improve overall customer satisfaction and avoid legal risks:

Import Logistics (Inbound)
- Managing the Imports from various Supplier / Country.
- Imports Clearance under MRP / BIS / IPR / WPC.
- Second Hand Machinery Imports
- Temporary Imports for Repair / Exhibition.
- Imports to FTWZ.
- Managing High Sea Sale Transaction.
- Handling Merchandise Trade Transaction.
- Co-ordination with shipper, CHA, Freight Forwarder, S/line, Port, CFS for timely clearance of the import clearance.
- Imports under various License its utilization and close monitor till closure of the license.

Export Logistics (Outbound)
- Responsible for creating accurate Export documentation and executing shipment timely.
- Tracking of Post Export Shipping documents.
- Submission of Export documents to bank in timely manner.
- Submission of Proof Exports documents in timely manner
- Keeping track of all post shipping documents till receipt of BRC / Incentives.
- Handling Letter of Credit documentation and negotiation.
- N-Form compliance.
- Monitoring statutory compliance for Export Shipment.
-Dealing with Third Party Inspection for Export orders.
- Handling Deemed Export Transaction.
- GSP / COO
- Handling Re-Export Transaction for Sale Return / Rejection / Repair / Post Exhibition etc.
- Obtaining GR Waiver & closing in timely manner.
- Handling the Exports under various Licenses.
- Handling Third Country / Cross Country Shipments.
- Controlling and negotiation of Freight cost.
- Maintaining & Building relationship with various Customs House Agent, Freight Forwarder, Shipping Lines, Customs, and Insurance Agents etc.
- Proper record keeping in soft and hard copies.

Experience requirements
-Through experience & knowledge of all Imports related Operational processes, knowledge in Export will have added advantage
-Minimum 3 years Experience in Imports in Manufacturing and / or Trading Industry.
-Excellent Communication skill.

Knowledge
You have a good knowledge of the Rules & Regulation of Indian Customs, Excise, RBI, Insurance, Ports & Shipping.
- Knowledge about Free Trade Agreement, trade barriers, restricted countries.
Knowledge of different IT tools in general and BPCS in particular is a plus
You are fluent in English.

Educational requirements
Graduate Degree from a recognized University.
Management Degree with specialization in Import Exports will have added advantage.
