Job Description:

1. In the job of Project Engineer, you will be working at the Global Engineering Center of Atlas Copco in the Mechanical Design Team. 
2. You will be responsible
3. To manage the projects assigned to you 
4. To work on finalizing the output drawings / layout along with the design engineers on the project.
5. To ensure and prepare design of the parts as per the scope requirement.
6. Produce and check the 3D assembly and 2D drawings. 
7. To take the ownership of the projects at the assigned Product company.
8. You will handle Projects for design tasks, interact with project leader, and present & discuss the proposed designs. To understand the build up of the assemblies you will have continuous interaction with different Engineering Departments of Atlas Copco group companies and will have the communication with the customers at Product company locations. 
9. You will estimate the assigned jobs, work on different CAD packages and deliver high quality job in specified time frame. You will be responsible to follow design codes, work instructions & check lists on the tasks handled and carry out the cad checking. It will be your challenge to further develop & expand the scope of activities while working as a good team member.
10. You will report to the Project leader and Project manager.
11. Knowledge of Design Application skills, proven experience in mechanical design & drafting. 
12. Design of Skid packages for compressor would be an added advantage.
13. Knowledge of Sheet metal , Piping 
14. Knowledge of AutoCAD Inventor, Catia 3d software.
15. Knowledge of International standards ASME and CE 
16. BE in Mechanical Engg with minimum of 5 to 8 years experience in the compressor industry or similar products.
17. You will be a creative person who takes initiatives to understand and deliver output at the highest quality in specified time. You will be a committed team player and have good communication skills in English. You should be open and flexible and have no problems to stay in Europe for 1-3 months.
