Job Description:

1. Understand scope of NPD / Product maintenance project.
2. Understand the work breakdown steps involved in the project. Estimate time along with project engineer and plan the activities.
3. Conduct feasibility study and create 3D designs, 2D drawings and related documentation according to customer requirements and laid down standards / processes. Keep track of the activities and maintain log of completion of activities.
4. Communicate with customer during execution of the project for receiving feedback, resolving queries and status reporting. 
5. May need to visit customer site based on requirement.
6. Conduct design checks to confirm compliance with the requirements.
7. 3-5 years of experience in product development / design.
8. Experience in a product engineering environment is an asset.
9. Experience in Compression technology will be a plus.
10. Should have manufacturing processes knowledge and able to create designs considering manufacturability. 
11. Should have worked on Autodesk Inventor and Autocad software and be able to work on commodities like sheet metal, Welding, Piping, flexible, machined components and big assemblies.
12. Should be proficient with GD&T and tolerance stack up analysis.
13. Experience on working with any PLM, preferably Autodesk Vault and ERP system.
14. Basic knowledge to understand the function, relationship, and assembly-sequence of parts and assemblies
15. Good knowledge of MS office is required.
16. Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering,
