Requirement for Lead Engineer - Civil Structure | PL Engineering Limited | 12 - 15 yrs | India

Leveraging its domain expertise and engineering knowledge, PLE also provides IT enabled engineering & consulting solutions and embedded systems design services.

Job Description:

1. Essential Lead & own the process of preparation of design deliverables with due consideration for applicable Codes & Standards. 
2. Interface with Leads of other departments to reflect the as-on-date input from other departments, as applicable. 
3. Take ownership of deliverables produced & their quality. 
4. Capture all changes / modifications in the deliverables that has been intimated by Project, prior to release of deliverable. 
5. Ensure appropriate checking & review of all documents / drawings before release at any Revision status. 
6. Attend project review meetings. 
7. Manpower estimation, work planning / forecast and effective utilization of manpower, progress monitoring and adherence to scheduled completion of engineering documents. 
8. Coordination with the other Engineering disciplines, client and vendors Control of Quality of engineering documents with regard to Quality assurance basis. Assist HOD in all departmental functions. 
9. Identify training needs of team members.
10. Keep HOD informed on progress of project, with agreed periodicity. 
11. Monitor Budget Compliance of design deliverable production. 
12. Escalate resource / infrastructure issues / concern areas that implicate the production process, to the right office / agency. 
13. Acts as a mentor for GET’s / EDHT’s.
14. Working knowledge of STAAD-Pro software 
15. Proficient with MS Office applications like MS Word, MS Excel
16. Working knowledge of MathCAD software 
17. Working knowledge of NISA software
18. Internal and External Customer concept orientation 
19. Good knowledge of Codes and Standards on the project/proposal. 
20. Experience and good technical skill in FEED/ Basic, 
21. Detail engineering of Industrial Projects Cost and quality consciousness 
22. Experience and good technical skill in FEED/ Basic, Detail engineering of facilities for Oil, Gas and Chemicals.
23. Knowledge of working in a multi-disciplinary EPC/EPCM environment
