Job Description:

1. Sourcing from Overseas vendors is mandatory- Procurement and negotiation, demonstrating creativity and initiative in the identification and delivery of cost savings and added value.
2. Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
3. Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking. 
4. Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirement & documentation.
5. Seek and partner with reliable vendors.
6. Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
7. Able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend.
8. Developing reliable suppliers and ensuring good vendor relationship.
9. Preparation of comparisons for quotes. Releasing Purchase orders. Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of defined quality materials
10. Maintain continuity in respect of supply of materials to support the production schedule.
11. BE Mechanical with 12-15 years of experience. 
12. Proven working experience in sourcing, purchase and vendor development 
13. Overseas exp in sourcing must wrt vendors in Heavy Engg/ Fabrication/ Automobile industry 
14. Experience in Direct sourcing only eligible 
15. Experience in handling Sub contracts is mandatory 
16. Good communication and negotiation skills 
17. Knowledge of Machining and raw materials
