Job Description:

1. Develop specific short-term and long-term plans and programs, together with supporting budget requests and financial estimates.
2. Manpower and facilities requirements planning while mobilization of site.
3. Review and approve cost control reports, cost estimates, yearly and interim budgets.
4. Finalization of plant and equipment requirement as per the scope and timeline of a project.
5. Evaluating the capacity, qualification and suitability of sub-contractors. Rate negotiations for Sub-contractors, Transporters, and Suppliers. Monitor the progress on regular intervals to ensure the milestones.Setting up the milestones with the team and managing team's performance of project tasks, quality inspections, project review and monitoring the same.
6. Developing and discussing matters requiring a decision with the management team.
7. Authorizing site level payments release, Liaison with Client and Consultant, Sub-Contractors.
8. Review performance against plans and standards.
9. Communication, including status reporting, risk management, escalation of issues that cannot be resolved in the team, and, in general, ensuring the budget and Project time line are within the mandate given.
10. Measurement, revision of design of Highway, culverts, and bridges etc.,
11. Identify and control slippage.
12. Interacting with section In-charge on day to day basis and coordinate to solve problems by conducting meetings at site and office, deliberating necessary guidelines as per site requirements to achieve the target.
13. Ensuring indenting activities are inline with planned material consumption.
14. Preparation of Claims and Variations and its finalization for approval.
15. Acting as an apex point within the organization, clients, contractors, consultant, vendors for smooth functioning of the projects.
16. Carrying out Correspondences related to the Project work with the Client, Consultants, other Govt. Authorities, Sub Contractors, and other Agencies. 
17. Implementation of Safety Measures for the Labors, Technical Staff & Road User while working at site.
18. Ensure reconciliation of materials at site.
19. To identify cost overrun items areas and to suggest ways to contain the same.
20. Over all check on material and labor on site.
21. Identify future problems as per scheduled program and initiate corrective action
22. Should have worked on NH Projects worth INR 150 crore and above in a similar capacity, atleast as a DPM.
23. Should be well versed with MoRTH Standards.
24. Good Communication and Inter Personal Skills.
25. Prior work experience in Arunachal Pradesh is preferable.
26. Age below 45 years and willing to work in North Eastern India
