Job Description:
*Conversant in carrying out Structural Modeling of Offshore Platforms Like Jackets & Topsides, Well Head Platforms, Process Platforms, Living Quarters, Walkways, Bridges & Flares.
*Preparation of conceptual Equipment Layouts through Offshore visits from pre Engineering & Pre Constructionsurvey.
*Independently work for Design Drawings using AutoCad after extracting the same from PDMS Model.
*Development of Connection Details, Preparation of MTO, Organizing Inputs from Design Drawings, Coordinate with Inter Disciplines for Inputs to avoid clash checks.
*Preparation of Master Document Register for all the project tracking and updating the same as the project progresses.
* Responsible for handling more than one subgroup and multiple projects at a Scheduled time.
* Preparation & Standardization of Drafting procedures & Drafting Standards.
*Ensuring full completion of drawing w.r.t. required details, scales etc., in the Drawing. *Ensuring error free Checking and rectifying Minor & Major changes in the drawings.
*Initiation of squad checks.
* Familiar with relevant International codes, Standards & specification.
*Generation of Detailed Material Take-off.
* Working to a given schedule and submission of Deliverables within the schedule.
*Accuracy of design documentation and MTO's.
* Raising Change Requests when information and scope deviations arise.
* Attend client meetings as required for obtaining and clarifying the Design Drawing related issues.
* Guiding the design team in preparing drawings to meet the requirements of
Engineering Design, Installation and Fabrication requirements.
*Quality Assurance Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the relevant Quality Assurance system etc.
*Preparation/Production of Fabrication and Detailed Drawings using AutoCad.
*Preparation of structural steel shop Drawings, Nesting plans, Shop Part Nos. Assembly Drawings, NDE Drawings, checking Drawings, preparation of Bill of Material etc.
*In-depth working knowledge of PDMS, NAVIS WORK, AUTOCAD is a Must with additional knowledge of BOCAD & TEKLA are essential.
Candidates with relevant Oil & Gas, OFFSHORE UPSTREAM experience will be considered on priority, over other industry experience.
