Job Description:

1. Visit and tour multiple suppliers and manufacturing plants for a greater depth of knowledge and understanding of the manufacturing processes and limitations
2. Consistent coordination with Product engineering teams and updating product changes
3. Stage inspection First operation, fit up, welding, Weld process parameters qualification
4. Resolve any fitment issues in the final product assembly plant. 
5. Periodical product improvement changes implementation
6. Localization of components related to off-highway Validation and testing structures & components related for dumpers and loaders
7. Lead multifunctional team and execute major special projects to meet VOC and VOB
8. Responsible for Machine Integration, New Product development, Product performance certification, Critical Process Improvements to address product problems, Reliability governance, Current product maintenance, Quality deviation approval and Custom design and development of machine attachments
9. Design reviews, CPI reviews and guide the team towards constructive and fact-based decision-making
10. Has working knowledge base of large and light structures and fabrication techniques for each 
11. Has worked with a wide variety of material thicknesses and structural shapes 
12. Has validated designs via simulation and physical testing 
13. Possess a solid understanding of multiple manufacturing processes and how to source parts via these processes 
14. Experience in welding of various types of ferrous/non-ferrous materials 
15. Knowledge of Heavy Fabrication and machining-Production Planning Coordination, supervise to meet the day-to-day production targets, Expediting materials availability 
16. Must have visited and toured multiple suppliers and manufacturing plants for a greater depth of knowledge and understanding of the manufacturing processes and limitations 
17. Working background in functional areas like Assembly Tools (holding fixtures, weld fixtures, hand tools, press tools), Machine Tools (holding fixtures), materials (heat treatment) 
18. Knowledge of Destructive and nondestructive testing Die-penetrant inspection, visual inspection, and Magna-flux inspection, tensile and Charpy testing, gamma radiation test on casting and forgings, metallurgical inspection in Laboratory 
19. Membership and involvement in at least one professional organization (i.e. SME, ASME, ASQC, etc)
