Job Description:
1. Name of the position Quality Assurance Engineer
2. Project scope Design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 2 x 25 Kv overhead equipment, traction sub-stations, auxiliary stations, switching stations, auto transformers stations and SCADA system on design-build lump sum price basis for JNPT - Makarpura (vadodara) section (approx 422 Kms) of western dedicated freight corridor (phase - 2).
3. Qualification B.E. (Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical)
4. Experience 15 Years, (Similar works railway project- 5 Years, Similar Position- 3 Years)
5. Cadre Manager
6. Key skills Knowledge of Quality management systems
Six Sigma & ISO Leadership
Knowledge of construction methodology
Process Development & Improvement
Scrap Reduction & Output Increase
Lean Quality Tools (FMEA, Pareto Charts, Fishbone Diagrams, Six Sigma 5S, 8D Methodology)
Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
7. Deliverables Overall responsibility and Authority for all QA/QC activities of the project.
Responsible for insuring that Quality Management System is implemented effectively in accordance with the standards.
Monitoring and reviewing the achievements of quality objectives.
Identifying training needs and organizing training of staff and workers.
Organizing and conducting internal audits and facilitating for conduct of external quality audits.
Developing and implementing tools for improvement on quality systems.
Vendor qualifications and approval of materials and products.
