Job Description:

1. Should have a wide vendor base and knowledge about cost estimation of major Electrical equipment/systems like Outdoor switchyards, GIS Electrical Substations, Power Transformers, High Voltage Switchgears, VFDs and VSDs, MCCs, Cathodic Protection System, Grounding, Plant lighting etc.
2. Should be able to fully understand the technical requirements/specifications described in the bid and arrive at most optimum solution and cost.
3. Should be fully versed with practical interpretation and application of National Electrical /Instrumentation /Telecommunication Codes like IEEE/ANSI/ITU and other relevant International/Indian codes and standards.
4. Experience in constructability study, contracts management and knowledge about requirements of interfaces inside an operating plant or other brownfield environment with a focus on cost optimization and offering the most economical bid solution.
5. Understanding of QA/QC and HSE requirements.
6. Knowledge and experience in project/activity scheduling.
7. Prepare construction cost estimates with respect to scope accuracy. Review subcontractors offer and deriving the most economical cost estimation.
8. Proactively review the tender techno commercial clauses and raise TQs on time.
9. Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Project and Primavera.

Qualification- Bachelor/Diploma in Electrical engineering.
Experience- For Graduate Engineers-Minimum 7 years of experience in preparation of techno commercial bids and proposals of Electrical / instrumentation/ Communication works for Oil and Gas Industries.
Candidates having previous design and engineering experience will be preferred.
