Job Description:

1. To Implement Environment Management Plan of Goa airport during construction phase. Develop Environment management manual & detailed monitoring plan, Inspection Plans and Testing of Construction works of Goa airport in relation to the compliances as per Environment Management Plan. Ensure final products are in line with Employer’s Requirement and Comply to Contract Terms and codal standards, specifications and compliances as stipulated by MOEF & Pollution control Board. Implementation of Audits & Compliance
2. Responsible for providing inputs in developing the Environment Management plan and detailed monitoring plan and ensure role out and implementation.
3. Conducting regular audits & Inspections on the environmental Compliances as stated by EC ( MOEF ) and pollution control board
4. Review of Env Management plan submitted by EPC contractor and suggest monitoring mechanism, conducting tests for Compliance.
5. Prepare and implement Environmental Aspect and Impact Register for critical activities of the project, investigate incidents impacting Environment aspects of the project and recommending corrective actions.
6. Organize awareness workshops / programs to staff of EPC contractors / sub-contractors.
7. Day to day Supervision and monitoring of works in relation to the compliance of EC & Pollution guidelines and codal provisions and legal compliances.
8. Prepare Timely Reports for submission to client, MOEF & Pollution control board on environmental compliances of activities / works in progress.
9. Conduct Regular Internal audits and inspections of Environment and to monitor and coordinate all external audits from authorities and propose corrective actions.
10. Coordinate and responsible for Establishment of ISO 14001.
11. Evaluating waste Management Waste disposal and conservation practices and decide action plans with the EPC contractor.
12. Responsible for upkeep of all data/ results of all Environment testing and ensure all legal compliances, acquire necessary consents/ Permissions as and when required.
13. Should be well versed with construction of STPs & WTPs in large infrastructure projects .
