Executive/Asst Manager EHS (Senior Accident Prevention Officer (SAPO)
Job Description

1. Implements approved SHE Plan (Process, Procedure, Work Instruction, Audit Checklist, Programs)
2. Assesses risk associated with activities and determine the control measures.
3. Ensure use of PPE as per the guideline 
4. Ensure compliance with the requirements of work permit system 
5. Ensure compliance with statutory SHE requirements 
6. Investigate and report all accidents / incidents and near misses
7. Maintain requisite medical aids / firefighting equipment
8. Plan and conduct Internal Safety & Health Management training programs, screening of workmen, induction to implement SHE Plan and promote awareness.
9. Responsible for Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA) for critical activities and assists SHE Director in compiling comprehensive hazards list.
10. Investigates and reports all accidents / incidents / dangerous occurrences / near misses.
11. Provide guidance for safety precautions to be taken in construction work. 
12. Ensure that all incidents (Near miss cases / Reportable LTI / Dangerous Occurrence / Fatality / Environment related incidents) are reported promptly.
13. Conduct Emergency Mock drill on regular intervals.
14. Desired Profile 10+ years of experience of medium / large projects. 
15. Majorly into Railway /Infrastructure Projects/ Highways. 
16. Capable of independently handling EHS responsibilities in a section.
17. High degree of proficiency in the use MS Office.
18. Good communicator both oral and written.
19. General management and leadership skills.
20. Having handled RVNL/Railway contract would be an added advantage.
21. Experience Minimum experience of 10 year, out of it 3 year experience in similar works i.e. railway/building and other construction.

Desired Profile 
Education Applicant shall have qualified in any of the following degree/diploma:
B.Sc. (Physics/Chemistry/Maths) with one year Full Time advanced Safety diploma from NICMAR, Hyderabad.
B.Sc. / Diploma in Engg. With advanced Safety Management Diploma from Hyderabad / Chennai / Kolkata and Kanpur.
B.Sc. (Physics/Chemistry/Maths) with One year Full Time diploma in Safety Engineering offered by West Bengal State Technical Education Departments and similar courses by other states
