Job Description:

1. Study all Drawings and Bill of Material related to Gear boxes and understand the scope of supply of the vendor.
2. Thorough knowledge of Gears, gear boxes, Gear ratios, standards & manufacturing processes etc.
3. Support Project management role in Planning, monitoring and expediting manufacturing process at suppliers locations to meet the project timelines.
4. Co-ordinate & Witness inspection of components, sub-assemblies and system level ATP at suppliers facility as and when required and ensure quality is achieved as per QAP.
5. Raise NCR/DCR, if any, from suppliers facility, co-ordinate with PMG/Design/QC & ensure closure.
6. Prepare and communicate Status Reports regularly to team.
Min. 4-5 years of experience in project management/ supply chain. The candidate should have experience regarding Gear boxes related activities. Willing to travel frequently within India for meetings/ inspection/testing at various suppliers facilities.
Thorough knowledge of Gear boxes & its components, test procedures, etc.
MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
Good presentation, communication & Interpersonal skills
Working Knowledge of MS Project
Working Knowledge of ERP-LN
Basic knowledge of Cost Management
Any other relevant information: Ready to relocate. Willing to travel to vendors/ site\
