Job Description:
• To closely coordinate with steel vendors to ensure supplies reaches to TL plants / out sourcing vendors as per delivery schedules agreed.
• Daily status report preparation & circulation to all stake holders.
• Obtain production schedules, rolling plans from vendors and ensure that aligns with the delivery schedules.
• Monitor and get updates / commitments from vendors on rolling, inspection, dispatches etc.
• Understand the priorities of the TL plant requirements and expedite delivers from the vendors.
• Anticipate uncertainties and take proactive actions.
• Coordination with CMD ( Central Material Department @ HQ ) team to ensure all vendors abide by delivery schedules committed
• Coordination with TL plant planning team and understand their priority requirements.
• Coordinate with Inspection teams and ensure timely completion of inspections.
• Coordination with stores department at factories matters related to Logistics, offloading, MRN’s and return of rejected materials etc.
• Tracking sheets & reconciliation of supplies and pending items.
• Coordination with logistics agencies to ensure timely placement of vehicles and movement of materials.
• Camping at vendor places and willing to travel on short notices.
