Job Description:

1. Lead & own the process of preparation of design deliverable s with due consideration for applicable Codes & Standards. 
2. Interface with Leads of other departments to reflect the as-on-date input from other departments, as applicable. 
3. Take ownership of deliverable produced. 
4. Capture all changes / modifications in the deliverable s that has been intimated by Project, prior to release of deliverable. 
5. Ensure appropriate checking & review of all documents / drawings before release at any Revision status. Attend project review meetings. 
6. Manpower estimation, planning / forecast and effective utilization of manpower. 
7. Coordination with the other Engineering disciplines. 
8. Control of Quality of engineering documents with regard to Quality assurance basis. 
9. Participate and lead vendor meetings (for clarifications, kick-off meetings or as required) 
10. Attend to site queries and visit site if required.
11. Identify training needs of team members. 
12. Keep HOD informed on progress of project, with agreed periodicity. 
13. Monitor Budget Compliance of design deliverable production. 
14. Escalate resource / infrastructure issues / concern areas that implicate the production process, to the right office / agency. 
15. Acts as a mentor for GET’s / EDHT’s. 
16. Familiar with ASME Sec VIII Div.1 & Div.2, PD-5500, API codes & other international standards. Conversant with Static equipment design software viz. PV Elite, Micro protol, 
17. Compress, Aspen B-JAC etc. 
18. Familiar with Development / Up-gradation of Technical Specifications, design basis and Standards. 
19. Knowledge about various materials used in pressure vessel industry 
20. Knowledge about prevailing engineering practices in Indian & international Market 
21. Review and approval of vendor drawings, data sheets /documents and calculations 
22. Basic knowledge on packages where predominant scope is of static equipment 
23. Manufacturing Knowledge of Static equipment's. 
24. Basic knowledge on various packages
