Leveraging its domain expertise and engineering knowledge, PLE also provides IT enabled engineering & consulting solutions and embedded systems design services.

Job Description:

1. To generate Engineering design deliverables prepared with due diligence after appropriate consideration of client’s requirement and in line with instructions received from Lead Engineer and in comprehensive compliance with PLE’s Quality Systems Procedure; 
2. To adopt and encourage a First-Time-Right (FTR) approach for preparation of design deliverables and ensure alignment to approved schedule. 
3. To assist Lead Engineer for finalization of Project Deliverables & look ahead schedule. 
4. To finalization of Specific Document requirement(SDR) & specific job requirement (SIR)
5. Obtain/assimilate relevant design input from Lead Engineer and other agents in Project and incorporate in the deliverables; 
6. Ensure preparation of design deliverables with due consideration for applicable Codes & Standards; Ensure prompt Coordination with the other Engineering disciplines. 
7. Vendor interactions Ensure appropriate checking & review of all documents / drawings before release at any Revision status. 
8. Assist lead in Work planning, progress monitoring and adherence to scheduled completion of engineering documents. 
9. Preparation / checking of deliverable as per quality plan. 
10. Schedule adherence for job assigned. 
11. Assist HOD / Lead Engineer in all departmental functions. 
12. Checking and Review of vendor documents 
13. Updating information on products and vendors/sub-contracts 
14. Review of critical systems with Lead Engineer and perform necessary steps to produce quality product. 
15. Acts as a mentor for GET’s / EDHT’s
16. Knowledge about latest ASME, IEC, API, ISA codes & other international standards. 
17. Knowledge about all the field instruments including control valves, safety valves 
18. Knowledge of Process Analyzers, Gas Chromatographs, Stack Analyzers 
19. Knowledge about the control systems like DCS, ESD, PLC, F&G, SCADA etc. 
20. Knowledge about the foundation field bus technology 
21. Knowledge about the SIL verification and validation techniques 
22. Knowledge about the compressors controls, turbine controls 
23. Knowledge about the custody metering/ Fiscal Metering systems 
24. Knowledge about the detail engineering activities like layouts, MTO, schedules, logic diagrams etc.
25. Awareness about the market availability of various makes & models of equipment. 
26. Knowledge about materials selection for instrumentation 
27. Knowledge about prevailing engineering practices in Indian & international Market. 
28. Knowledge about the sizing of control valves, safety valves, orifice plates, wake frequency calculations for thermo-wells etc. 
29. Knowledge of In Tools software’s 
30. Knowledge of instrument Sizing software’s 
31. Knowledge of MS office
