Leveraging its domain expertise and engineering knowledge, PLE also provides IT enabled engineering & consulting solutions and embedded systems design services.

Job Description:

1. Essential Lead & own the process of preparation of design deliverables with due consideration for applicable Codes & Standards. 
2. Interface with Leads of other departments to reflect the as-on-date input from other departments, as applicable. 
3. Take ownership of deliverables produced & their quality. 
4. Capture all changes / modifications in the deliverables that has been intimated by Project, prior to release of deliverable. 
5. Ensure appropriate checking & review of all documents / drawings before release at any Revision status. Attend project review meetings.
6. Manpower estimation, work planning / forecast and effective utilization of manpower, progress monitoring and adherence to scheduled completion of engineering documents. 
7. Coordination with the other Engineering disciplines, client and vendors Control of Quality of engineering documents with regard to Quality assurance basis. Assist HOD in all departmental functions. 
8. Identify training needs of team members. 
9. Keep HOD informed on progress of project, with agreed periodicity. 
10. Monitor Budget Compliance of design deliverable production. 
11. Escalate resource / infrastructure issues / concern areas that implicate the production process, to the right office / agency. 
12. Acts as a mentor for GET’s / EDHT’s.
13. System study software’s like ETAP, EDSA, CYME. 
14. Any Lighting calculation software like AGI, LUXICON Relay 
15. Coordination studies Desired Smart Plant Electrical 
16. Electrical System studies Hazardous Areas 
17. Classification Equipment sizing calculations i.e Transformer, 
18. Generator, NGR etc Switch yard designing & transmission lines 
19. A/C & D/C UPS Sizing 
20. Lighting Calculation 
21. Cable sizing calculation 
22. Earthing & Lighting protection Calculation 
23. Preparation of MR’s for main electrical equipment 
24. TBA’s (Technical Bid Analysis) & Vendor Recommendations 
25. Preparation of Electrical layouts (like cable tray lighting, earthing, substations, FA system) Preparation of Single line diagrams, protection drawings, schematics, schedules & wiring diagrams
26. Heat Tracing System 
27. Cathodic Protection systems
