1. To manage the operation of the Quality Control (QC) functions on project site by preparing and implementing components of Quality Controls Plans and Procedures according to Organization Quality Control procedures
2. Administers the contract requirements and assures that each contractor consistently conforms to its approved Quality Plan.
3. Reviews QC and QA testing documentation with contractors, engineers, and inspectors. 
4. To supervise and manage all QA/QC functions in the workplace and manage a team of QC engineers and inspectors for day to day QA/QC functions.
5. To prepare Quality Control procedures, Inspection Test Plans (ITP) according to project requirements and client specifications; follow-up for its approval.
6. To plan and supervise Subcontractor inspection activities and reviews of Sub Contractor QC performance.
7. To act as a focal and coordination point for ISO internal and external audits and to conduct internal and operation audits.
8. To apply good practical knowledge in interpretation of Standards and Codes used in the respective discipline of specialization in civil 
9. Reviews plans and specifications for assigned projects and estimates the type and number of QA tests that should be accomplished for each specification section
10. Coordinating and steer with external agencies for carrying out the specialized work as per specifications, identify and report deviations.
11. To identify/access the QC requirement for the project (Ex. Resources, procedures, documentation etc.,) and liaise with Project QC Manager/ Operation and QC Department for its compliance.
12. To interface and coordinate with Operation and Clients for QC matters and coordinate with third party inspection agencies for all related inspection activities.
13. To undertake preparation of Final QC dossier/ Manufactures Record Book as applicable for handing over to the Client and maintain proper filing system (as per Organization procedure) with full traceability for retrieving the QC document. 
14. Ensure process to drive inspection of raw materials, bought out items and review of Material Test Certificates (MTC) and the specification requirements. Prior to use, in process and final stage random inspection and periodic testing of materials and end product as per the contract.
15. Bachelors in Engineering - Civil Engineering with minimum 12 years of experience in QC position in respective Organization.
16. QC experience mainly in reputed Organizations having business in EPC Projects - Construction / Airport / Roads / Infrastructure projects. 
17. Familiarity with ISO-9000 quality control system, including Codes and Standards used in the various field of applicable Engineering specialization.
18. Data Analysis / Report writing; business and technical correspondence
19. Good Communication Skills / Team Building and Leadership Skill
