Requirement for Construction Projects in SPIE Oil & Gas Services (part of the SPIE Group) provides a complete range of services to some of the world's  largest oil and gas companies through its network of offices in 25 countries across Africa, the Middle-East and Asia-Pacific. 

Job Description:

1. To assist in checking and reviewing work Method Statement, JHA, Safety Certification and other related documents submitted by Project Consultant/Contractors.
2. To take necessary action in case any lapse and/or lagging.
3. Supervises and coordinates with contractors to achieve the Project Overall Safety Goal. Recommends appropriate solutions and proposes changes as necessary.
4. Attends meetings with contractors, sub-contractors and vendors to review work site progress on a weekly basis or more frequent as required. Analyses and addresses critical areas and prompt solution.
5. Ability to perform field inspection, survey, review, advice and propose administrative close out precautions.
6. Ensure that QP\\'s safety regulation for contractors, project safety plans and QP / State of Qatar\\'s environmental regulations are understood and followed by the contractors.
7. Ability to work effectively with various personnel and in team with flexibility in work assignment.
8. Ability to undertake and coordinate accidents and incidents investigations
9. Provide guidance and technical assistance to contractors.
10. Encounter issues that are multi-disciplinary while working as a construction focal point for a project.
11. Interact with internal departments and contractors involving discussion of project information, possible solutions to problems and co-ordination of work.
12. Update daily and weekly construction progress reports for assigned projects and verify contractors\\' progress statements for accuracy.
13. Co-ordinate with concerned parties to resolve routine site issues and refer technical queries to senior construction supervisor.
