VIL is a leading water utility company from India and is also working across the value chain of water. We have been a front runner in Urban Water reforms in India through our Nagpur 24x7 water project which is a first full city-wide continuous water supply project in India. It includes a population of 2.5 million, 0.3 million connections with a 25 year BOT project which is under implementation for more than two years.

Job Description:

1. Require Candidates with Diploma in Civil and 1 to 3+ years of experience from relevant industry.
2. Candidate having exposure working on water related projects preferred though not mandatory.
3. Candidate will be responsible for Supervising workmen, skilled labor, lead men, lead foremen in all activities related to project and report to concerned Project In-charge.
4. Should demonstrate ability to optimize resources (manpower, equipment and materials) to ensure efficient and timely completion of task. 
5. Competent in reading and understanding Specifications, drawings, and all other discipline related project and engineering documentation. Familiar with and enforces strict compliance with all QA/QC and Safety procedures, plus all Company rules and regulations. Commands respect of his foremen, Lead men, skilled labor and discipline workforce, and develops excellent working relationships with all other department personnel. 
6. Must be an excellent communicator. Able to give instructions and transfer knowledge in an efficient and effective way to coworkers and staff. 
7. Monitors and tracks daily progress and work completed, comparing planned to actual. Takes appropriate mitigating action to ensure compliance with the plan, based on knowledge of available manpower, equipment, materials.
