Requirement for Engineer Sterling And Wilson Pvt. Ltd. A Group company of SHAPOORJI PALLONJI COMPANY LTD. Job Description:

1. Plan and prepare proposals in an efficient and timely manner as demanded by management and clients request using the best competitive solution. Partnering closely with Business Development managers to ensure that customer needs fully addressed in the proposal. 
2. Work actively from early stage of proposal by developing value proposition, identifying the risk and opportunities, developing the project execution plan, exploring potential partners and developing the winning strategy.
3. Analyze historical pricing data to determine target price for winning strategy. 
4. Review and analyze customer specifications and data to compile information for bids and prepare proposals responsive to customer requirement. 
5. Prepare cost estimates for new bids, contract changes, request for quotations utilizing basic engineering data, drawings, customer specifications and related information and summarize total cost estimate. 
6. Develop or assist in the development of internal documents such as commercial agreements, pricing spreadsheets, risk analysis and mitigation worksheets, cash flow information.
7. Record all negotiation results from suppliers and customers and upon receipt of order participate in project management 'hand-over' meetings to ensure that all technical and commercial objectives are understood by the project management or order handling personnel 
8. Work with internal project stakeholders to gather all relevant information in order to prepare accurate project estimates including Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Development, Procurement, Origination, and other departments as needed 
9. Develops tools to enhance estimation and budget tracking competencies and ability to produce accurate estimates in a timely fashion Challenge budget line-items as needed with the objective of achieving the most optimized estimates
10. Develop and maintain intelligence regarding trends in cost of services, materials, and commodities in the various regions in which the company operates
