Requirement for Formwork Manager | L&T | 8 - 12 Years | Sri Lanka

Job Description

1. Study of drawings, technical specifications & understand the total scope of formwork.
2. Coordination with Clients/Consultants/ Designer based on requirement if any to change the drawings or specs.
3. Prepare the formwork strategy along with the Other Internal departments, Regional In-Charges & Site planning for the job.
4. In line with the base schedule & formwork strategy, prepare the planning for Resources, Material, and Tools &Tackles for execution.
5. Coordinate with other depts. Internally, Plant & Machinery and Tower/Section in-charges and ensure that all construction methodology is in place as a team.
6. Monitor & Track the weekly/monthly material stock and update the same to Regional offices/ In-charge and Head Quarters for any discrepancies or requirements not met as per schedule.
7. Monitor & update the Formwork Performance Reports to the Regional In-charge/ Head Quarters on a monthly basis
8. Releasing activity based and system based Standard Operating Procedures to the site.
9. Ensure the safety as per the International standards.
10. Ensure the carpentry workshop infrastructure set-up as per norms for formwork making activities for site execution
11. Ensure the infrastructure at site to properly stack all formwork materials received at site.
12. Ensure formwork material is issued to the labour or sub-contractors from store / formwork stock through site formwork in-charges approval on the indent.
13. Ensure the Training &Prepare a mock-up facility displaying with the available formwork systems 
14. Ensure the house-keeping at site is done at regular intervals and area of work is maintained neat and clean.
15. Assist the formwork foremen & charge hands for necessary implementation.
16. Conduct periodical checks when formwork is in progress and ensure that all design criteria and scheme drawings criteria are met.
17. Inspect the formwork for necessary safety & quality checks before & after concreting.
18. Record any incidents related to formwork and ensure it is avoided in future by taking appropriate action and also circulates the same to all other sites and creates awareness.
19. Ensure that the checklist is maintained and report made for every zone before & after concreting. 
20. Coordinate with Head Quarters, for technical support required if any for implementation.
21. Ensure that the training is conducted for all workmen at regular intervals at site and mock-up areas to improve the productivity levels.
22. Training for formwork foremen & charge hands whenever new system implementation should take place without fail and ensure it is reinforced by having periodical reviews.
23. Ensure that 100% reconciliation of formwork items happen once in every 6 months and report the same to Regional offices & Head Quarters.
24. Good Knowledge of Autocad, Stadpro & Formwork Design.
25. M.E or B. Tech in Civil /Mechanical
26. 8 to 10+ years of experience in Construction Industry
