L&T Construction is looking for DESIGN ENGINEERING PROFESSIONALS for their Dedicated Freight Corridor Project (Indian Railways) being executed between Iqbalgarh and Vadodara The major responsibility will be to coordinate between internal design teams, design agencies , execution team and the client and obtain GFC approvals.
1.EMBANKMENT DESIGN
Preparation of GFC drawings as per the approved detail designs and site conditions.
Timely approvals of GFC drawings from client.
Preparation & approvals of method statements for the related works.
Analysis of Job quantities and coordination with planning & tendering department.
Co-ordination with client, technical design team & site construction team for smooth execution of project.
Visiting site as & when required for assisting site engineers in construction difficulties.
Estimation/Reconciliation of earthwork quantities using softwares like CALQUAN etc.

2.EARTH RETAINING STRUCTURE DESIGN

3.DRAIN DESIGN
Coordination between detail design and site conditions and preparation of GFC drawings.
Timely approvals of GFC drawings from client.
Preparation & approvals of method statements for the related works.
Analysis of Job quantities and coordination with planning & tendering department.
Co-ordination with site client, technical design team & site construction team for smooth execution of project.
Visiting site as & when required for assisting site engineers in construction difficulties.

Qualification & Experience

Qualification & Experience
- Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Engineering /Technology in Civil/Structural Engineering from reputed institute
- Minimum 3-8 years experience in relevant areas of Road /Highway design - Embankment/Earth Retaining Structures/Drains
- STAAD and AUTOCAD knowledge is preferred.
- Should be conversant with RDSO standards and relevant railway codes.
- Good technical / functional acumen and good communication skills DESIRABLE
- Experience in DFCC/Railway Track Construction projects will be preferable
- Experience in Large infrastructure- Roads/Highways/Railway projects
