Requirement for Construction Projects in GE India Industrial Private Limited, Engineering Analysis Center of Excellence (EACoE) is the Engineering & technology hub for GE Infrastructure located at the John F Welch Technology Centre, Bangalore. The team is part of the Global Engineering team of the Infrastructure businesses like Aviation, Energy, Oil & Gas and Water technologies, engaged in high-end design and analysis of Aircraft Engine components, Steam / Gas / Wind Turbines and Generators and mechanical drives for oil & gas applications.

Job Description:

1. Identify Construction responsibilities as per tendered position.
2. Review and establish scope, budget, and risk & opportunities the contract .
3. Coordinate and lead handover process from Tendering to Construction reviewing Constructions scope and budget including risk and opportunities.
4. Initially prepare and arrange to take possession of the site infrastructure . Develop and plan temporary and permanent site infrastructure RFQ file, receive offer and negotiate and place PO.
5. Represent the site team in actions related to home office.
6. Monitor and report on regular basis the overall construction execution, cost forecast and planning. Develop and implement mitigation plans in conjunction with the Site Manager and Construction department heads .
7. Ensure required resources are appointed and delegated in a timely and legal manner.prapare project guide line and implement , prepare PRM and load manpower on site.
8. Coordinate subcontracts (M&E contract ,infrastructure, turnkey vender ). Develop RFQ file, receive offer, negotiate and place PO within time period .
9. Allocate, manage and coordinate Non Budgeted Costs (NBC) for proper cost reporting.
10. Guarantee that all Construction related projects and their conditions are executed according to contract requirements
11. Provide timely, accurate, reliable and actual information to the Project Director and to the Construction management, in conjunction with the Site Manager. Report any discrepancies on site.
12. Coordinate Construction disciplines for a proper accomplishment of project scope.
13. Provide structure feedback with experiences and lessons learned in the duration and closure of the site
14. Procurement of material for site from head office for site support.

17. For Component Projects, responsible for the site personnel, their activities, duties and tasks.
18. Is responsible for the offshore budget. For Component Projects, responsible for the onshore contract budget.
19. Ensure resources are appointed and delegated on-time and in compliance with the approved
20. Delegation strategies.
21. For Component Projects, oversee the whole execution of site activities and implement actions to
22. mitigate deviations from the Project Execution Strategy.
23. Represent the site team in actions related to home office
