Job for Engineers leading property developer India Kalpataru Group for Mumbai Location

Job Description:

1. Conduct market studies and research to understand new materials, products, construction techniques, new technology etc being used in the industry, carry out site visits for evaluation, coordinate with in-house sites for sampling, understand market trends and competition analysis. Conduct a thorough techno-legal and commercial feasibility and present to the management with findings and suggestions/recommendations for the same .
2. To meet vendors (material suppliers, consultants, service providers) to understand their offerings on new products/techniques/services and collate technical data. 
3. Carry out external site visits to exhibitions, seminars, competitors projects, vendors plants and project sites to understand application of new product/technique/technology being used in the market
4. Coordinate with in-house project sites, project coordination and vendors to carry out sampling, prototypes, pilot test and understand practical application
5. Finalize method statement of new product and carry out cost benefit analysis to compare newly proposed method with method being followed presently in the organization
6. Coordinate with in-house Architects to understand design parameters and other departments to evaluate commercial feasibility
7. To coordinate with other departments for implementation of ideas received through Ankur platform (an Innovation Initiative) across the organization. 
8. To encourage idea generation and follow up for activities related to promoting innovation as a culture within the organization
9. Continuously look at ways of improving the process of identification and application of new products/construction techniques/technology etc within the organization and implement the same
10. Prepare and implement a mechanism for tracking, monitoring, reporting and communicating
