Job Description:

1. Producing the design of all Architectural systems and cooperating with the Commercial Group to develop the associated cost during the programming, conceptual and detailed design phases, for large / complex Projects.
2. Ensure that all design is in compliance with local authorities code.
3. Review of the design of Architectural systems, produced by other team members, for technical compliance with specified and contracted client/customer requirements;
4. Review of all Architectural tender documentation;
5. Implementing the design checklist and tracking programme;
6. Arranging internal design reviews with the support of the HOD;
7. Co-ordinate with other discipline Leads
8. Representing Architecture Department in monthly Client Meetings;
9. Compiling lessons learned and briefing HOD on same;
10. Formulating any necessary recovery plans relating to Design , Cost & Schedule
11. Mentoring of the Senior Architects with the intent of securing properly trained personnel to ensure the continual expansion of the company.
12. QA/QC reviews of multiple Projects
13. Improve on Discipline standards & Tools
14. To monitor design man hours and staff resources for project services
15. Experience in design and construction of Architectural services systems in both design and construction, preferably with some Fast Track Project experience for Semiconductor, Sustainable Energy, Pharmaceutical, Nutrition, Healthcare or Biotech Projects.

Technical Competencies Required:

1. Familiar in Revit and AutoCAD
2. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, PDF document generation and management
3. Technical knowledge and understanding of Architectural Design and Construction Systems from Preliminary Design to Handover for process plants in various sectors like chemicals, FMCG, pharma, food processing etc.
4. Extensive knowledge of local and global codes of practice for design implementation.
5. Technical knowledge and understanding of project execution processes in a fast track environment
6. Extensive local construction knowledge
7. Technical Problem Solving
8. Technical Communication
9. Architectural Detailing
10. Architectural Specification Writing/Editing
11. Project Management Understanding
12. Delegation of Responsibility to Achieve Design and Schedule Targets.
13. Registered Member in Council of Architects (COA)
