Job Description:

The BIM Academy Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of a Bentley Physical Academy installation within an installation of an Academy environment during the initial 4-6 months of deployment at major owner-operator offices in India, Malaysia and other possible locations. These to include coordination of bookings, networks, hardware, and related services to maximize the utilization of the Academy installation.
To be based (up to) 3 weeks each month at possible sites within India, Malaysia and other locations

• The prime role of a BIM Advancement Academy is to provide services for major Bentley clients / Owners via specific engagements. An engagement will typically involve an installation on a clients own site, within their premises, for the purposes of providing an environment for Training, seminars, presentations, forums etc.
• The BIM Academy Manager will manage hardware and software in use within the Academy, including virtualizations, mirrored system installations, and any required connectivity between physical, satellite, and mobile Academy installations.
• The BIM Academy Manager will maximize utilization of the Academy, balancing needs of training, sales presentation requests, awareness sessions, and necessary maintenance.
• Ensure cleanliness, effectiveness, and presentation of a physical Academy is of the highest order
• Coordinate with those providing training to ensure an effective and positive environment
• The BIM Academy Manager must be capable, and confident to provide presentations to senior and middle management and to construction / technical personnel to advance a deeper understanding of / and strategies for the implementation of BIM and Asset Lifecycle Management. ( It is envisaged the successful candidate, from the outset, will be confident in these areas, - and should expect to receive instruction upon how such subjects are presented by Bentley in its other Academy environments around the world.
