Job Description:

We are looking for a candidate with about 2 years of post-qualification, hands-on experience in civil engineering, looking after buildings and land. The candidate must be familiar with planning, estimation and quantity survey, billing procedures, preparation floating and evaluation of tenders, coordinating and supervising activities of subordinate staff for various repair, maintenance and construction work, general maintenance of campus buildings, landscape development. The candidate must have good skill in using computer software like MS Office.

• He will be responsible for protection and greening of the campus, assist in planning future growth and construction on campus. 
• He will also be responsible for looking after the infrastructure and developing maintenance systems of the campus buildings.
• Control the horticulture on campus, plan recruitment of additional support staff for the campus.
• Responsible for hiring of contractual labour work campus related work.
• Liaise with the campus architects as well as other consultants that the institute may employ from time to time.
• Supervisory experience in planning, directing, coordinating, and evaluating the campus/township development & maintenance is highly desirable.
• Any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Assistant Registrar, Registrar and Director from time to time.
