Planning-Engineer | Location: Bangalore | Exp: 2 - 5 yrs.

Job Description:

To effectively plan man, material, drawings, machine and estimate costs for the site and continuously monitor execution against the schedule to ensure completion of project within scheduled time and cost

Provide inputs to strengthen the weekly and monthly reporting system of project execution

Prepare the project plan highlighting project schedule, activities, methodologies, approach and the work breakdown structure

Co-develop the following schedules estimation report based on the overall project plans in co-ordination with respective departments

o Consultants and Contractors appointment schedule

o Drawings schedule

o Statutory approvals schedule

Incorporate changes suggested in the schedule and plan for all projects, activity sequence chart, basic bar chart, schedule of permissions and approvals, schedule of drawings by the Head - Projects

Ensure timely sign offs on the overall schedule and plan for all projects, activity sequence chart, basic bar chart, schedule of permissions and approvals, schedule of drawings

Co-develop with the PMO team a detailed preliminary estimates for the project

Define the BOM / BOQ and regularly update the same concurrently to the design changes / deviations / variations

Monitor project expenditure for the allocated projects and escalate any deviations from the allocated budgets to the Head – Projects and Central Planning in a timely manner

Foster an environment of learning, excellence and innovation within all aspects of team work

Undertake performance management for self

Adhere to training calendar for self and mentor and coach subordinates to develop the team’s capabilities

Technical:

Knowledge of the Real Estate Industry

 Knowledge of Project Planning, costing and budgeting

Understanding of local laws and regulations impacting project design and development
