Job Description:


Electrical Engineer, having 5 to 8 years experience in detailed engineering of power plants/ oil and gas / EPC projects. He or she would be reporting to Manager and responsible for detailed engineering / proposal preparation, Overall layouts, drawing preparation/checking, planning and timely completion of detailed engineering activities. He should have good communication and presentation skills.

Job Description
1. Experience in Tendering, Project Execution/ Electrical & Instrumentation systems engineering.
2. Produce E & I system engineeing calculations & design facilities.
3. Lead & mentor engineers in E & I design.
4. Independant reviews of EPC project specifications, equipment specifications, bid reviews, and vendor drawing review.
5. Experience in system studies, grounding design
6. Responsible for developing electrical conceptual design for proposals and also during detail engineering
7. Lead and develop clarifications / deviations in response to tender requirements, to respond to potential suppliers technical queries, to help technical bid evaluation and technical evaluation report preparation.
8. Prepare bill of quantity (BOQ) for all electrical systems and equipments in EPC project
9. Strong knowledge of cost control, scheduling, engineering drawings and other documents.
10. Preparation of material take offs and field estimates
11. Shall have knowledge of relevant standards
12. Candidates should preferably have experience of EPC projects in power/O&G / EPC companies
13. Preparation of instrument list, IO list, instrument hook up drawings, Instruments system BQ.
14. Strong knowledge of field instruments and systems required for Power plants.
15. Inspection of electrical & instrumentation systems or equipments
16. Preparation of engineering procedures/manuals.
