Job Description

1. Project Engineer will be a single point responsibility for end-to-end co-ordination during execution of Rotary Equipments under assigned project. It involves the coordination with Engineering team, Supply chain management, Vendor, Expeditors, Construction team etc. Project Engineer has to ensure timely and successful commissioning of all Rotary equipments being handled with strict compliance to Vendor?s standard instructions, Quality and HSE norms.
2. Review of Pre-order Engineering documents to ensure fulfilment of Customer?s specifications and bid requirements
3. Review of Post-order Engineering, Inspection, Site Installation & Preservation documentation of Rotary equipment?s especially with respect to interface management, engineering specifications and optimization, timely ordering, spares etc.
4. Monitoring of the stage wise manufacturing and delivery schedule, including third party inspection, Logistics, site material receipt and control.
5. Liaise with Vendors / sub-contractors/ to meet schedule targets & construction priorities.
6. Visit Vendor?s workshop to review the Manufacturing progress, expediting, mechanical run test, factory acceptance test etc.
7. Monitor & review the construction progress to meet the overall Project schedule. Ensure work is carried out as per the recommendations of the equipment supplier.
8. Liaison with Project Controls / contracts for Invoicing, Fund forecasting and change order management.
9. Ensure compliance of the HSE plan during all stages of the project.
10. Assist in resolution of site queries, field engineering and submission of as-built documentation.
11. Extend support to vendor/sub-contractor field engineers
12. Assist in pre-commissioning & commissioning activities.
13. Assist in Project Close-out activitiesDesired Profile:
14. Experience of working on EPC projects in Refinery / Petrochemical / Gas Processing / Fertiliser projects for reputed organizations.
15. Experience of complete project lifecycle for atleast one project.
16. For a position in Domestic EPC project, candidate must have an experience of 7-10 years and should have worked on atleast two projects with value more than INR 500 Crores .
17. For a position in International EPC project, candidate must have an experience of 10-15 years and should have worked on atleast two International projects with value more than150M USD
18. Must have in depth knowledge of API Codes and Standards applicable to Rotary Equipments
19. Should be well versed in troubleshooting of the equipments handled
20. Experience of Handling at least one project involving multiple Centrifugal / Reciprocating Compressors with Rating of 5MW or more
21. Experience of working on Saudi Aramco, PDO, KOC / KNPC projects is preferred.
22. Conversant with EIL /PDIL specifications for domestic projects
23. Conversant with Saudi Aramco Engineering standards & Saudi Aramco Engineering Procedure for International projects
24. PMP/IPMA certification will be added advantage
25. Sound knowledge of Project Management Techniques and Project Management Tools like Primavera, MS Project, MS Office
26. Good Interpersonal Skills, Oral & written communication, Team player
27. Leadership skills, Decision making, Risk assessment, Planning, Stake holder management, Negotiation skills
