Job Description:

1. Preparation of PM Schedule and its execution
2. Implementing Energy Saving Measures
3. Maintaining System Serviceability & Availability
4. Trouble shooting, testing and commissioning of electrical equipments.
5. Ensure PM is performed as per checklist
6. Updation of Checklist and its usage
7. Ensure availability of spares
8. Suggest/Implement alternate course of action in case of fault
9. Adherence of safety
10. Training and Development of maintenance personnel.
11. Facilitate to audits and maintain all the records.
12. Planning / scheduling , execution, review, control measure for improvement works
13. Supervision of field works
14. Preparing and updating records
15. Maintenance Personnel administration.
16. Review the situation, evaluates in better alternate solution and ensures its implementation so that Minimum impact on system and resolve
17. Ensure smooth functioning of the systems and condition based monitoring of the system, maintaining the MTTR&MTTB,
18. Responsible for planning and supervising of maintenance and troubleshooting work.
19. Man power deployment
20. Material management
21. Implement energy saving measures
22. Monitoring the availability of system and equipment
23. Monitoring O&M activities and adherence to PM schedules.
24. Minimal downtime during PM
25. Improvement works like 5S/Kaizen/BLIP/CIP
26. Critical Knowledge area:
27. Means and Modes to Perform PM of Equipment
28. Thorough knowledge on testing and commissioning of electrical equipments
29. Able to read SLDs and relay protection schemes
30. Experience on HT system 33kV, 11kV network, Power transformers, Numerical relays.
31. Schedule of Maintenance.
32. O & M Procedure of Equipment and System
33. Tools and Equipment used in O&M
34. Monitor the Performance of Maintenance work and suggest the area of improvement.
35. Condition based Monitoring and tracking of MTTR&MTBF.
36. Monitoring the parameters and tracking the trips and alarms in the system 
37. Initial trouble shooting in case of any alarm, tripping, abnormality
