Job Description:

1. Handle Capex Procurement Activities to Cater all purchase requirements of the Project from Head Office. 
2. Procurement-to-Pay process of materials / CAPEX / Services / Repairs of plants items /Contract Management 
3. Facilitate the interaction with local suppliers and other service functions
4. Compile offers and get Technical Recommendation
5. Formulate negotiation strategy and get clearance to negotiate
6. Negotiate prices and terms 
7. Placement of order with Schedules
8. Ensuring smooth supply of items to enable uninterrupted production 
9. Achieving targeted saving
10. Coordination with all user departments / internal customers
11. Preparation of MIS and weekly / monthly review with Reporting Managers / HOD
12. Resolve all purchase issues and coordinate with internal customers (user dept.) / Supply Vendors / Freight Vendors/ accounts payable department to process all invoices against Short supply, Rejections poor quality and inferior performances, Pending payments, expediting delivery etc
13. Buyer need to understand the requirement of Project site and analyze the technical details of the materials required at site.
14. Product knowledge (cost structure, lead time, technical features)
15. (Techno commercial negotiations, Cost Saving initiatives)
16. Analyse applicability and impact of taxes and duties on procurement items with respect to different sourcing locations 
17. Basic knowledge of transport, insurance, 
18. Knowledge of Supplier Market
19. Knowledge of MS Office
20. Buyers need to work with multiple vendors to determine price discovery, obtain the best deals for the company, and have to evaluate the many pros and cons of each, based on price, quality, speed of delivery, term & conditions and other factors.
21. Buyers need to use the information gathered by him to make recommendations to facilitate decision making. 
22. Buyers will be working with suppliers to negotiate the best deals and savings against budgeted costs. 
23. Buyers need to prepare MIS as per companys requirement and report to HO.
24. Good Communication Skills: Proficiency in English, Hindi and any other regional language The candidate with knowledge of ERP Oracle would be given preference. The candidate should have experience in direct purchase. More than 5 Years in Projects Procurement related to Capex or Capital items
