MEP Proposal Engineer
Job Description:

1. Mechanical Engineering)
2. Exposure - Experience in MEP Services of construction projects (Retail, 
3. Commercial, Residential, Hospital, Hotel and Industrial)
4. Reviewing RFPs and Tender documents, Specifications, Basis of Design and drawings so as to determine the scope of work and required contents to prepare accurate and efficient materials and labour estimates on all project stages and project related works.
5. Preparation/review of Plumbing, firefighting & HVAC related technical queries to be sent to the Client for pre-bid meeting.
6. Interpreting & reviewing system drawings & identifying any difference related to tender requirements and to raise queries for the same.
7. Attending pre-tender meeting, pre-tender site visits and technical meetings.
8. Maintaining Cost database of various MEP services like Plumbing, firefighting & HVAC items and ensuring the periodic updating of the data maintained in the section. 
9. Preparing & sending enquiries for firefighting & HVAC items, Pumps, motor, chillers, cooling towers & accessories etc. specific to project requirement for proper estimation of project cost.
10. Technical & Commercial analysis of the quotation with respect to exclusions, assumptions & deviations.
11. Negotiating with suppliers and sub-contractors to obtain most most competitive quotes.
12. Organising meeting with various vendors from time to time.
13. Reviewing Bill of Quantity & Preparation of Cost estimation with detail rate analysis.
14. Review of DBR, Assumptions & Exclusion and Scope of work for Particular Project.
15. Coordinating with the Design and Consultant for deviation from tender requirement with respect to cost estimation and technical Submittal.
