Immediate Requirement for Construction Manager - Road / Highway | Railway Structure | Larsen & Toubro Limited | 10 - 15 Years| Mumbai

Job Description

1. Should have Engineering Degree (preferably first class) in Civil Engineering from a recognized university / engineering college with the experience of 7-15 years in construction of medium to large Highways / roads project. 
2. Should be conversant with latest construction & formwork technologies used in highway structures / roads structures. Especially for Bridges / Overpass / Underpass/ Culverts etc. 
3. Knowledge of computer applications (MS Project & Primavera) and codes of practices Indian Construction Standards specification for Highway construction will be an added advantage. 
4. Should be ready to relocate in India & Mauritius. 
5. Should have knowledge of contract billing and basic statutory requirements. 
6. Should have good communication skills and aptitude to develop leadership qualities. 
7. Knowledge of computer applications/ exposure to design work desirable 
8. Ensure that the structures work is executed in accordance with the plan, drawings specifications and time schedule. 
9. Ensure availability of manpower, materials, plant and other resources and facilities for the work.
10. Provide technical guidance to subordinates 
11. Report to higher site management regarding constraints and possible solutions in respect of work. 
12. Bring out the holds ups, which impede progress of work to the notice of the higher site management. 
13. Get the works inspected and approved by the client / Consultant / Independent Engineer. 
14. Ensure implementation of quality, safety, hygiene and environmental measures.
