Job Description:

1. Handle Site Procurement Activities to Cater all purchase requirements of the Project. 
2. To aggregate and make Demand Forecast (3 to 6 months) for all commodities, consumables and spares etc. in coordination with Site Planning Engineer / RCM. Procurement of all Materials & Services in conformance to Site Procurement guidelines / SOPs/ Purchase Processes as per project requirements.
3. Technical Skills: Buyer need to understand the requirement of Project site and analyze the technical details of the materials required at site.
4. Technical Knowledge Buyer need to have exposure / knowledge in material related to items used in project (domain specific). 
5. Analytical Skills: Buyers need to work with multiple vendors to determine price discovery, obtain the best deals for the company, and have to evaluate the many pros and cons of each, based on price, quality, speed of delivery, term & conditions and other factors.
6. Decision-Making Skills: Buyers need to use the information gathered by him to make recommendations to facilitate decision making. 
7. Buyers will be working with suppliers to negotiate the best deals and savings against 
8. Buyers need to prepare MIS as per companys requirement and report to HO.
9. More than 3 Years in Projects Procurement related to Buildings / Power Plant / Steel Plants / Water Projects/Industrial plants, as relevant. Hands on working on ERP (ORACLE)/ SAP is mandatory.
