Job Description:

1. Provide cost & planning services in support of engineering, construction, commissioning & start-up (CSU) and maintenance activities. Develop, in conjunction with project engineers, design engineers, construction & maintenance engineers, activity plans for projects, construction services, and CSU activities.
2. Build overall plans and schedules for conceptual, front-end designs and for the execution phase of projects, provides plans and schedules for ad-hoc construction service requests, integrated maintenance plans.
3. Shall report to the relevant Contractor project control & planning engineer, IAP Planner and area Construction for day-day activities.
4. Responsible for work activity progress reporting and regular update of plans and schedules.
5. Work in close co-operation with Company Engineering & Operations planning department, for engineering, construction, and CSU planning, inclusive reporting, Primavera P6 entry, SAP daily service entry, and Premix entry.
6. Resource optimization / prioritization in conjunction with Project Engineers / Construction / Maintenance Co-coordinators(s).
7. Early warning of plan delays and proposals for mitigation to Project Engineers / Construction / Maintenance Co-ordinators for resolution.
8. Provide assistance in job preparation to Project Engineers.
9. BE/ B.Tech with relevant engineering discipline and membership of internationally accepted applicable professional Institute.
10. Minimum 5 years experience with project control and planning, primavera P3 and SAP on oil and gas engineering, construction, CSU and maintenance activities in an EP related business or a contracting company servicing a petrochemical.
11. Proficiency in the use of PCs, data management and planning software for oil & gas projects.
12. Experience with Primavera P3 planning is a must.
13. Shall have the ability and experience to build logic precedence networks, challenge the logic proposed by other disciplines in order to optimize project and maintenance planning. Shall be able to build resource activity plans, including ongoing update, change control, progress reporting, etc.
14. Requires a good general multi-discipline knowledge / awareness. The job will require a lot of interaction with other disciplines and therefore good inter-personal and communication skills are required.
