Job Description:

1. Handle Project Procurement of all Engineered / Cataloged Products for various Projects.
2. To aggregate and procure of all mechanical equipment like Pumps, Valves, Fittings, Centrifuge, Thickener, Idlers, Pulley, Belts, Screens, Special Equipment etc . The incumbent shall be able to do cost estimation/Price discovery of major mechanical items and procure them ensuring savings against budgeted costs.
3. Study of the Requisition received from the technical team and floating RFQs (Request For Quotation) to the relevant vendors after generating the same in ERP 
4. Creating Quotations in ERP after receipt of offers and carrying out commercial evaluation of all offers received
5. Carrying out techno-commercial discussions, including price negotiations, with the short listed vendors and finalizing on the commercial terms & conditions
6. Initiating a Purchase Committee Recommendation seeking approval for placement of order and subsequent issue of orders
7. Identifying new vendors and arranging for their approval from the client as well as their registration with TPL
8. Analysis of existing SLAs with internal customers on various parameters and ensuring customer satisfaction through continuous improvement
9. Handling purchases from both domestic and foreign vendors
10. Mentoring newly inducted employees in SCM
11. Support the Business Development Team in securing new projects by forming MOUs
12. Active participant in all new improvement projects taken up by Supply Chain management
13. Heading the Supply Chain Management in all IT initiatives 
14. Active participant in preparation of detailed Schedule of Powers
15. Worked as a Project manager for successful implementation of logic based Item code creation tool.
