Job Description:

1. Checking of the quality parameters from the sub structure stage to finishes as per the specification.
2. Creating, updating and maintaining the project submittal log and all other project specific quality control reports.
3. Coordinating with the consultant’s representative and Site In-charge for inspection and meeting about quality problems including the closure of Non-Compliance Report.
4. Reviewing shop drawings and submittals for conformance with project specifications by direct review and by leveraging the knowledge and experience of others in the project team when necessary.
5. Managing and documenting the weekly QC meetings with the superintendent and provide written minutes as described in project specific contract documents.
6. Conducting preparatory, initial and follow up meetings to establish an understanding of the standards of care desired for each definable feature of work.
7. Verify that checklists are being used and signed off prior to the placement of concrete, steel and other similar items of work.
8. Verifying and documenting all materials received for the project are in conformance with the approved submittal, are handled and stored appropriately and are acceptable for use in the project.
9. Upholding the responsibility for the quality and workmanship of every activity, thorough knowledge of all phases of engineering construction relating to Civil, Architectural and Structural discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary operations.
