Requirement for Sr Engineer - Civil | GMR Infrastructure Limited | 4 - 6 yrs | Hyderabad

Requirement for GMR is an infrastructure Development Company founded in 1978 and headquartered in Bangalore . The Group is well diversified and professionally managed with ownership interests in Energy, Transportation and Manufacturing.

Job Description:

1. Review GFC (Good for Construction) drawings and ensure all typical details, cross sections, dimensions etc. as required for execution are available
2. Ensure the latest version of GFC drawings are utilized for execution by the vendors
3. Highlight discrepancies if any in drawings with respect to site condition during execution .
4. Monitor site survey and levels and ensure proper documentation as per the manual.
5. Monitor soil investigations and ensure proper documentation as per the manual.
6. Supervision of Civil and structure works & other interface works as per approved drawings and specifications
7. Monitor various tests on concrete, steel, structural and faade works.
8. Ensure inspection of terminal roofing works as per the approved design including coordinating for smooth transfer of sheeting materials and erecting equipment. Installation of fall arrester and faade cleaning system at PTB roof.
9. Coordinate various agencies for labour passes, permits and material movement.
10. Monitor Safety & Quality aspects and ensure the contractor meets the contractual obligations. 
11. Monitor the progress of works as per the construction schedule and take actions to catch-up and fast track works as required.
12. Highlight / report to senior management in case of any major issues with progress of works or performance issue with the vendors.
13. Coordinate with other package works and sub packages for smooth functioning of multiple agency works within the airport project site.
14. Support manager to prepare micro level programme for execution of works
15. Implementation of HSE as per the ISO norms.
16. Prepare and report day to day work schedules
17. Prepare DPR, MPR for project reviews and necessary follow up with the contractors to catch up with the delays..
18. Contract Closure
19. Certify the contractors and the vendor Invoices/ bills in line with the works executed.
20. Develop As built drawings for the work packages completed and submit.
21. Prepare final QA and QC report
22. Support HR on HR compliance documentation of the contractors.
23. Provide handing over note to operations or user team.
