Job Description:
Preferred female candidates only
10+ years experience with knowledge / understanding of Oil and Gas Business. 5+ years specific experience on Proposal & estimation
1) Carry out Proposal and Estimation activities for Construction projects in the field of gas processing, Refinery, Fertilizers etc.
2) Capable of carrying out interactions with Engineering disciplines, Supply Chain Management especially Buyers for resolution of vendor clarifications and support to clarify vendor queries to expedite vendor offers, Contracts, HSE, Construction and QA&I, Vendors etc.
3) Capable of carrying out various technical and commercial documents/ drawings, vendor offer evaluation, Quotation Tabulation Sheets (QTS) based on vendor offers, risk analysis and participation in risk reviews, planning & review, proposal documents preparation, data review & analysis etc.
4) Preparation of checklist as per Tender scope, amendments and Client clarification
5) Preparation of SMART proposals to improve the cost competitiveness
Key Deliverables
1) Lead one/two proposals at any given point of time
2) Manage the Proposal & estimation engineers and guide them to ensure delivery and achieve the strike rate
3) Project Costing Responsibility Matrix and Work Plan
4) Generation of Commercial/ Scope related queries and resolution
5) Overall Competitive Project Cost-sheet preparation for Management review and as per Price format requirement
6) Vendor offer status review, Vendor selection and cost optimization
7) Services (Project Management, Logistics, TPI, Client Facility etc.) Costing
8) Taxation Calculation as per Project requirement
9) Insurance, BG, Capital Charge etc. working and finalization
10) Parametric Comparison (Based on scope analysis) and Target Project costing
11) Value Engineering/ Constructability implementation
12) Risk Assessment and Contingency finalization
13) Implementation of cost reduction initiatives
14) Implementation of Past Project/ Proposal Learning and Preparation of Item-wise/Discipline-wise target costing
15) SOP Documentation/ requirement
Shared Cross-Functionally
1) Preparation of Cost Estimates for Manpower & Services required for the job with support from related Capability Centres
2) Coordinate with proposal team members for collation of cost estimates into Overall Cost Estimates, accounting of taxes & duties and hedging factors, prepare assumption list & suggest contingency values
3) Support Proposal Manager for Preliminary and Final presentation of Overall Cost Estimate to Proposal & Estimation Head
4) Assist in document handover to the Project Team
5) BE/ BTech in Civil & Mech Engineering. Additionally, Management Degree
