Job Description:

Analytical Ability:
Should be able to develop structural framing for building structures with medium complexity and carry out analysis of the same against gravity loads and lateral loads with sound knowledge of basic analysis techniques and understanding of structural behavior in three dimensions.
Should be able to produce mathematical models for building structures with medium complexity at least in one of the following software packages:
ETABS/ ROBOT/ SCIA or other software of similarly capability
Should be able to ascertain the correctness of mathematical model and interpret results after carrying out the analysis in software.

Design Ability (RCC):
Should be proficient with ETABS, SAFE, S-Concrete, TEDDS and other appropriate software in design of RCC elements and be able to ascertain correctness of design intents by hand calculations.
After carrying out the design, the candidate should be adept at developing detailing as per the Analysis Concept as well as local Engineering Practice for typical structural elements.

Design Ability (Structural Steel work):
Should be proficient with at least one of the software packages in design of structural steel elements and connections:
ROBOT/ SAP/ TEDDS/ Tekla and other appropriate software
Should possess sound knowledge and skill set in design of typical structural steel elements and connections by hand calculations and be able to visualize connection details in three dimensions. Should be able to comprehend the scope of details to be delivered and prepare essential connection details. Should possess good understanding of detailing rules and be aware of local authority requirements.
