Job Description:

1. Ensure construction workers are following established policies and safety regulations. 
2. Work closely with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). 
3. Implements approved SHE Plan (Process, Procedure, Work Instruction, Audit Checklist, Programs)
4. Assesses risk associated with activities and determine the control measures.
5. Ensure compliance with statutory SHE requirements. 
6. Investigate and report all accidents / incidents and near misses.
7. Maintain requisite medical aids / firefighting equipment.
8. Plan and conduct Internal Safety & Health Management training programs, screening of workmen, induction to implement SHE Plan and promote awareness.
9. Responsible for Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA) for critical activities and assists SHE Director in compiling comprehensive hazards list.
10. Investigates and reports all accidents / incidents / dangerous occurrences / near misses.
11. Coordinate all investigations (Near miss cases / Reportable LTI / Dangerous Occurrence / Fatality / Environment related incidents) along with SHE Management team.
12. To promote the working of Site SHE Committees and to act as an advisor to such committees

Desired Profile 

10+ years of experience of medium / large projects.
Majorly into Railway /Infrastructure Projects/ Highways.
Capable of independently handling EHS Roles & responsibilities a Package.
Should possess Sound knowledge of NEBOSH, MIOSH etc.
High degree of proficiency in the use MS Office.
Good communicator both oral and written.
General management and leadership skills.
Having handled RVNL/Railway contract would be an added advantage.
Experience Minimum Experience of 15 year, out of it 5 year experience in similar works and 3 year in similar position i.e. Railway/Building and Other construction.

B.E / B.Arch. with one year Full Time advanced Safety diploma from NICMAR, Hyderabad.
B.E/ B.Tech. with any other equivalent State and Central Govt. recognized full time Degree / Diploma in Safety.
