Job Description/Mission

Project EngineerWe are currently looking for Mechanical Engineers to join the Drilling and Material Handling teams at Underground Rock Excavation , Atlas Copco CMTEC . The products you will work with are market leading within underground drilling, loading and hauling .Job Description :

Study the requirements and complete the projects within specified time with right quality following the design procedures, work instructions and standards

Design of aggregates, integration of aggregates and design review & take up the analysis with senior colleagues for implementation

Perform and check design calculations as required

Work on PDM/PLM systems associated with engineering release processes & systems

Maintain Project documents as per ISO procedures

Follow the internal project management and time management requirements

Mentoring and technical training for junior colleagues on CAD tools

Support the team in upgrading all the internal processes on continuous basisMission :Understand customer’s needs and provide value added Engineering design services based on the project or task assigned to him\her, ensuring quality, efficiency and on time delivery in full, with an objective of achieving customer satisfaction according to the set procedures and guidelines as applicable complying to all the required company policies and values

Experience Requirements

4 years minimum for BE\BTech and 6 years minimum (4 years in heavy engineering) for DME experience in mechanical design\drafting

Knowledge

• Basic engineering ,drawing skills and GD&T
• Structural design & process - Cutting/bending/forming/welding/…
• Exposure to design release process and change management
• Basic Knowledge of manufacturing processes, hydraulics and engineering materials
• Preferably - awareness of design standards, CAD tool knowledge and heavy machinery product knowledge
• Sub-project management.
Educational Requirements
• ME / MTech / BE / BTech – Mechanical /Automobile/Production
• Proficiency in Pro-Engineer Wildfire 4.0 & Intralink Knowledge on Team Center is an added advantage
Personality Requirements
• Enthusiastic, positive minded and able to work well in an international client environment
• Good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
• Self starter and goal oriented
• Attention to details and strong sense of responsibility
