Job Description:

1. Inspects the site to ensure it is a hazard-free environment.
2. Conducts toolbox meetings
3. Is part of the project safety council and leads all efforts to enhance safety
4. Reviews and approves all subcontractors safety plans
5. Verifies that accident reports are completed and submitted to related agencies 
6. Verifies that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use.
7. Promotes safe practices at the job site.
8. Enforces safety guidelines.
9. Trains and carries out drills and exercises on how to manage emergency situations.
10. Conducts investigations of all accidents and near-misses.
11. Reports to concerned authorities as requested or mandated by regulations.
12. Conducts job hazard analyses.
13. Establishes safety standards and policies as needed.
14. Performs emergency response drills.
15. Watches out for the safety of all workers and works to protect them from entering hazardous situations.
16. Responds to employees safety concerns.
17. Coordinates registration and removal of hazardous waste.
18. Serves as the link between state and local agencies and contractors.
19. Arranges for OSHA mandated testing and/or evaluations of the workplace by external agencies / consultants.
20. Candidate should have experience of safety management in large Infrastructure development / power plant construction sites from concept to commissioning
21. Exposure to International projects in international environment.
22. In-depth experience in Civil & Structural works execution of Material 
23. Handling Residential and commercial projects
24. Good analytical skills with the ability to provide solutions to issues.
25. Self-motivated with sound interpersonal skills coupled with a confident style of behavior.
26. Good communication skills when dealing with project staff and potentially the client.
