Job Description:

1. Estimate cost for items where a quote will not be obtained leveraging past proposal/project data
2. Estimate costs for bulk items by utilizing quantities/ MTOs obtained from Proposal Engineering Contractor and rates obtained from vendors or from Procurement Co-ordinator
3. Compile cost estimate as per Client requirements
4. Prepare inputs for obtaining recommendations on Currencies to bid, Forex variations, commodities and Risk contingency
5. Interactions with vendors, participate in vendor meetings, discussions and finalization of techno-commercial matters with vendors
6. Development of in-house costing capabilities, cost ratios etc. Assist in assessing risks and deviations and exceptions for the Tender
7. Assist the Proposal Manager in the estimation activities for a particular tender & timely submission
8. Co-ordinate with vendors and other departments to collate costs
9. Assist in compiling and presenting Preliminary and Final presentation of individual cost estimate to Proposals & Estimation Head
10. Assist in document handover to the Project Team
