Job Description:
Geotechnical engineering, design and design management for major transportation EPC projects. About 10-12 years of experience in working design & build environment.
Sectors to be covered : Road, bridge, ports, underground metro, elevated metro, airport and tunnels projects.

1. Recommend specification for soil investigations for projects at tender and 
2. detailed design stages
3. Interpretation of design parameters from borehole data
4. Review and update soil investigation report for optimized design
5. Efficient in following analysis and design with recommendations:
6. Slope stability analysis for embankments
7. Grouting for tunneling and underground works
8. Ground improvement techniques for infrastructure projects
9. Rock excavation and stability of slopes
10. Pile capacity including micro-piles to large diameter
11. Earth retention schemes soil nailing, soil anchor and rock anchor capacity
12. Other deep foundations
13. Marine foundations
14. Soil structure interaction
15. Earthquake engineering including liquefaction analysis
16. Good understanding of various soil testing methods
17. Independent working
18. Innovative thinking for economic solutions and faster construction
19. Cost consciousness and value engineering
20. Understanding of various construction methods and design accordingly
21. Understanding of temporary/enabling works design
22. Roles & Responsibilities 
23. Tender design and detailed design
24. Preparation of BOQ in tender stage
25. Require excellent interpersonal and communication skills
26. Ensure perfect coordination between various consultants and specialists
27. Interaction with clients for design approvals
28. Coordination for various statutory approval requirements
29. Handling multiple projects through the design stage
30. Review and checking of design and drawings produced by other consultants
31. Produce sketches, drawings, reports
32. Able to guide draftsperson
33. Coordinate with other consultants, architects, structural engineers and MEP services to finalise design
