Job Description:

1. Design solar PV systems that are code compliant and highly energy producing and complete permit package for US projects. 
2. Accompany Commercial Project Developers on site visits in India.
3. Work with required documentation for proposals and final deliverable such as all cut-sheets package.
4. Understand commercial site visits to determine specification of solar system size and specifications, roof structure, BOS and conduit locations, engineering, and electrical service requirements.
5. Use AutoCAD to prepare site plans, layouts, mechanical racking and attachment plans, single-line electrical drawings, specification of BOS location and interconnection details.
6. Understanding of shading analysis and inter-row space calculations.
7. Understand and experience with PVSyst and how it related to loss factors in relation to energy production for contracts.
8. Research, understand, and communicate relevant AHJ permitting and development requirements that affect commercial solar PV system designs and the overall cost and viability of project opportunities.
9. Develop specifications, collect data, and complete utility interconnection applications and building permit applications.
10. Work cross-functionally with sales, project management and installation teams to ensure clients needs and internal deadlines are met.
11. Site assessment and analysis both from on-site data collection and network tools.
12. Work with sales team to interpret sales proposals.
13. Understand all USA fire-codes.
14. Complete BOM for solar projects.
15. Be available for USA time for conversations and coordination with US team members.
16. Help to ensure that all commercial construction/ civil/ land/ technical standards are met in the solar project jurisdiction.
17. Assist in value engineering of our solar project portfolio based on performance-cost tradeoffs and relevant optimization processes.
18. Maintain technical expertise in current design technology and industry standards.
19. Maintain an organizational structure that allows for efficiency and transparency including reporting of work done.
