Job Description:

1. Preparation of Comprehensive Solid waste Management Plan for Cities
2. Checklist preparation for DPR for approval from Ministry of Urban Development
3. Characterisation & Quantification of Solid Waste & Hazardous Waste to be generated during Construction & Operations stage of the project
4. Collection, Segregation and Storage system of various types of waste generated
5. Revalidate and propose the location of final storage / treatment and recycling system
6. Preliminary design of storage facilities
7. Identification of nearest Common Hazardous Waste Transportation, Storage, Disposal facility
8. Waste Management Plan with applicable rules
9. Thorough knowledge of industry practices, codes and standards
10. Ability to develop detailed engineering drawings upto GFC level
11. Ability to develop BOQ, cost estimates and detailed Tender Documents
12. Exposure to Construction of such projects
13. Ability to meet tight Project Submittal Deadlines
14. Teamwork
15. 7 -15 years in Planning, Design & Implementation of Solid Waste Management Projects
16. Ability to conceive Solid Waste Management Plan for a Township / City, SEZ, Industrial Park, Group Housing etc. using innovative technologies with low carbon footprint
17. Work exposure to implement such systems in the communities
18. Exposure to waste collection in high rise buildings (> 40 storey)
19. Exposure to Waste to Energy Projects
20. Exposure of working with multilateral funding agencies such as ADB, World Bank etc.
21. Exposure to International Best Practices and work experience outside India shall be preferable
22. Ability to develop RFP for Developer / Contractors
23. Exposure to various funding methods such as PPP, Hybrid Annuity etc
